From Beach prints to golf prints to many others, Templeton's art work
reflects the lifestyles and hobbies of the people on the Gulf Coast. The
artist Richard E. Templeton was a native of New England, but he lived
most of his life on the Gulf Coast residing in Mobile, Alabama. His many
differant subjects of paintings includes watermelons, coastal life, sailboats,
crabs, and many other watercolors of the Gulf Coast life in Alabama.

His warm feelings for the coastal life validated even his most casual
sketches. Richard's flamboyant, impressionistic style often resulted
in the refreshingly unpredictable watercolor painting. Much of his work
depicts the leisure times of the sea coast people. He was equally at
home painting the flowers so prominent in the South. He was also known
for his wonderful paintings of sailboats.

After his death in 1993, his wife and her sister established a Gallery to
assure that Richard's work would remain for all who want to enjoy a
special artistic experience. His paintings are on display on this website for
your enjoyment too. If you would like to purchase any of his paintings, call
